Travel Radiology Technician (Rad Tech) - May consider Contract to Perm Hire Role

Salary Range: Local Candidates: $45.50 hourly
Travel (50+ miles): $15/hr plus $1450 weekly housing and M&I = $2050 weekly gross
Hours: 5x8-hour shifts - 40 hours weekly - No nights, weekends, holidays, or on-call
Physical Setting: Outpatient facility
EMR: Nextgen

Essential Functions
We are seeking a qualified Radiological Technologist for immediate placement in our Vascular Access Center or Ambulatory Surgical Center, located in Colmar Manor, MD (Washington, D.C area). The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in general diagnostic, and special procedures, and cardiac catheterization; experience in IR and Cath Lab is a plus.


Experience, Education, Certifications and Requirements:
•    American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
•    State license and/or fluoroscopic permit to practice radiologic technology if required by state law
•    Associate degree in science or successful completion of a formal educational program accepted by ARRT
•    1 year experience in general diagnostic, special procedures or cardiac catheterization


Job Overview/Requirements:
•    Assist clinical team with patient and procedure room preparation and post-procedure clean-up, operating the C-Arm, scrub-in for procedures, clean and sterilize tools and equipment
•    Monitor and maintain adequate inventory of medical supplies
•    Maintain radiology safety-monitoring procedures and may serve as the Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) for the center or Safety Officer
•    Assist in scheduling patients for vascular access procedures and provide assistance in transporting patients within the center
