Director of Pharmacy – Behavioral Health Hospital

Location: Greenville, TX

Specialty Medical Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Director of Pharmacy for a behavioral health hospital in Greenville, TX. This is an excellent opportunity for a hospital pharmacist with leadership experience to oversee pharmacy operations, support an established pharmacy team, and play an important role in maintaining high-quality patient care.

Assignment Details

Start: October 1, 2026
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
On-Call: Required
Weekend Coverage: Occasional Saturday–Sunday coverage, 6:00 AM–11:00 AM

Requirements

• Active Texas Pharmacist license in good standing
• Inpatient hospital pharmacy experience required
• Previous pharmacy leadership or management experience preferred
• Behavioral health experience preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
• HCS and Omnicell experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day pharmacy operations and maintain efficient departmental workflow
• Manage pharmacy staffing and scheduling needs
• Provide hands-on pharmacist coverage as needed
• Participate in pharmacy and hospital committee activities
• Oversee medication safety and regulatory compliance
• Collaborate with pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to maintain continuity of pharmacy services
• Support inventory management and medication distribution processes
• Work closely with hospital leadership and interdisciplinary teams to support quality patient care
