Specialty Medical Staffing is seeking an Interim Director of Pharmacy (DOP) for an exciting opportunity at an inpatient acute care facility in Tucson, AZ.
Position Details:

Location: Tucson, AZ

Start Date: November 2026

Schedule: Full-time, day shift

Setting: Inpatient Acute Care

Duration: Short-term interim assignment
Responsibilities:
-
Oversee daily pharmacy operations and regulatory compliance.

Serve as Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC).
-
Manage pharmacy staff, inventory, and medication distribution systems.
-
Provide pharmacist staffing support as needed.
Requirements:
-
Previous inpatient Director of Pharmacy experience required.
-
Active Arizona Pharmacist license required.
-
Strong leadership and hospital pharmacy operations experience.
