Specialty Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Inpatient Pharmacist for a full-time contract opportunity at a well-respected behavioral health hospital in Merrillville, IN. This position involves working alongside an established pharmacy team in an inpatient setting, including neuroscience and oncology services.
Requirements

Active Indiana Pharmacist license required

Recent inpatient hospital pharmacy experience required

Sterile compounding experience
-
EPIC experience preferred

Familiarity with Omnicell and Perata preferred

Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with clinical staff
Responsibilities

Review and verify inpatient medication orders

Prepare and oversee sterile compounded medications

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and pharmacy staff to support patient care

Monitor medication therapies and ensure safe medication distribution

Utilize pharmacy systems and automation to support daily operations

Maintain accurate documentation and regulatory compliance
