Specialty Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced Pharmacist for a six-month contract opportunity with a specialty infusion pharmacy in Tukwila, WA. This position offers the opportunity to work in a specialized pharmacy environment, with responsibilities focused on medication staging and verification to support safe and efficient infusion pharmacy operations.

Requirements

• Active Washington State Pharmacist license in good standing

• Infusion or specialty pharmacy experience preferred

• Strong knowledge of medication safety and prescription verification

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to work effectively within established pharmacy workflows

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Perform pharmacist verification duties within the Staging and Verification Room (SVR)

• Review medication orders for accuracy, completeness, and appropriateness

• Support safe and efficient medication staging and processing

• Identify and resolve medication order discrepancies

• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and other pharmacy staff

• Maintain compliance with applicable pharmacy regulations and established procedures

• Support accurate and timely medication preparation and distribution workflows
