Location: Hopkinsville, KY
Job Type: PRN / Per Diem
Specialty Medical Staffing is seeking a PRN Pharmacist for an inpatient behavioral health facility in Hopkinsville, KY. This is a great opportunity for a pharmacist looking for occasional weekday coverage with dates available from October through January and additional dates expected.
Assignment Details
- Schedule: PRN weekday coverage, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
- Current Coverage Dates:
- October 28–29
- November 2
- November 27
- November 30
- December 29–31
- Additional dates expected
- Weekends: No weekend coverage required
- Setting: Inpatient behavioral health
- Order Entry System: HCS, training provided
- Automation: Omnicell, training provided
- Training: 1 day
Requirements
- Active Kentucky Pharmacist license in good standing
- Inpatient or behavioral health pharmacy experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Availability for PRN weekday coverage
Responsibilities
- Review and verify medication orders
- Verify medication packaging
- Support medication distribution and daily pharmacy operations
- Stock and maintain Omnicell medication dispensing systems
- Work alongside pharmacy technician support to ensure efficient pharmacy operations
