Hospital Lead Pharmacy Technician - Full Time
Specialty Medical Staffing is currently hiring a Lead Pharmacy Technician at a behavioral health hospital in Fayetteville, Arkansas. This is a full-time weekday position supporting daily pharmacy operations in an inpatient setting.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM (40 hours/week)
Start Date: July 27, 2026
Weekend Coverage: None
Responsibilities include:
- Filling medication orders
- Delivering medications to patient medication rooms
- Managing and stocking pharmacy inventory
- Receiving daily warehouse orders and reconciling invoices
- Processing medication recalls
- Assisting with medication room audits
- Supporting the pharmacist with daily pharmacy operations
Qualifications:
- Active Arkansas Pharmacy Technician license required
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred
- Inpatient hospital or retail pharmacy experience preferred
Facility Details:
- Behavioral health hospital serving adolescent and adult patients
- HCS pharmacy system (training provided)
- Omnicell automation (experience preferred but training available)
Orientation & Training:
- Two-day hospital orientation required
- Pharmacy training provided by the Director of Pharmacy and pharmacy staff
- Mandatory orientation: August 10–11
Travel: Local candidates preferred. Mileage and hotel reimbursement may be available for qualified travelers.
Dress Code: Business casual or scrubs in any color except blue
