Location: Marshfield, WI
Pay: $72–$78/hr DOE
Assignment: 6 months, temp-to-permanent opportunity
Specialty Medical Staffing is hiring a Community Pharmacist for an exciting opportunity in Marshfield, Wisconsin. This role supports safe, accurate dispensing, patient counseling, and day-to-day pharmacy operations in an established community pharmacy setting. The position is a six-month assignment with the potential to transition into a permanent role.
Responsibilities
- Review, interpret, and accurately dispense new and refill prescriptions.
- Perform final verification of prepared medications to support safe, effective therapy.
- Counsel patients and communicate with healthcare providers regarding prescription questions.
- Oversee pharmacy workflow and provide guidance to pharmacy technicians as needed.
- Maintain accurate records and comply with pharmacy regulations, safety practices, and patient confidentiality requirements.
- Support quality assurance and provide attentive customer service.
Qualifications
- Active Wisconsin pharmacist license in good standing.
- Bachelor of Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.
- Experience with pharmacy data-entry systems.
- Strong communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
Schedule
- Sunday: 10:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Tuesday: 9:00 AM–8:00 PM
- Thursday: 9:00 AM–8:00 PM
- Friday: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
Schedule is expected to remain consistent during the temporary assignment; hours may vary upon permanent conversion.
