Intake RN Coordinator – Full Time

Location: Tukwila, WA
Compensation: $50-58/hr

Specialty Medical Staffing is currently seeking an Intake RN Coordinator for a full-time assignment in the Tukwila, WA area. This is an excellent opportunity for a Registered Nurse looking to utilize their clinical knowledge in a care coordination and case management capacity without direct patient care responsibilities.

This position is office-based and utilizes clinical knowledge to support patient onboarding, referral management, and coordination of services across the healthcare continuum.

Assignment Details

• Start: ASAP
• Duration: Minimum 3 months with potential for temp-to-hire
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm
• Full-time hours

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient discharges from hospitals in collaboration with healthcare teams
• Facilitate onboarding and coordination of patients referred from clinics and provider offices
• Communicate with pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, dietitians, providers, and care teams
• Support transition-of-care processes and patient service coordination
• Maintain accurate documentation and records
• Ensure timely communication between all parties involved in patient care

Position Requirements

• Active Washington RN License in good standing
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Experience with care coordination, case management, intake, discharge planning, or related healthcare functions preferred
• Ability to work effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
