Hospital Pharmacist — Full Time

Specialty Medical Staffing is actively seeking a licensed Pharmacist for a hospital coverage assignment in the Daytona Beach, FL area. Whether you are an experienced clinical pharmacist or a motivated early-career professional looking to grow your inpatient skills, we encourage you to apply. This is a great opportunity to work in a collaborative inpatient environment and expand your clinical experience, all on a structured contract with competitive pay.

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS

Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 13-week contract 
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour day shifts
Setting: Hospital inpatient pharmacy

REQUIREMENTS

• Active Florida Pharmacist License in good standing (required)
• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent degree
• Inpatient experience is required
• Experience with EPIC or other pharmacy information systems is a plus
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment
• New graduates encouraged to apply

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Order verification and clinical review of physician medication orders
• Medication dispensing, distribution, and inventory management
• Monitoring medication therapy for drug interactions, dosing accuracy, and safety
• Pharmacokinetic dosing support and clinical consultations
• Medication reconciliation and discharge counseling for patients
• Collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other care team members
• Accurate documentation and compliance with pharmacy regulations
