Hospital Director of Pharmacy – Full Time ($70–$80/hr)

Specialty Medical Staffing is currently seeking a Director of Pharmacy for a hospital opportunity in the Newark, OH area. This role will oversee pharmacy operations, clinical services, and regulatory compliance within an inpatient setting.

Assignment Details

• Start: ASAP
• Duration: Direct hire / permanent placement preferred
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour day shifts
• On-call: Rotating coverage, approximately every 4th weekend

Requirements

• Active Ohio Pharmacist License in good standing
• Previous Director of Pharmacy or strong pharmacy leadership experience required
• Inpatient hospital experience required
• Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, medication safety, and clinical operations

Responsibilities

• Oversee all pharmacy operations and staff
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and hospital policies
• Lead clinical and operational pharmacy initiatives
• Manage inventory, workflow, and staffing
• Collaborate with hospital leadership and interdisciplinary teams
• Support accreditation readiness and regulatory standards
