Specialty Medical Staffing is currently seeking a Pharmacist for a short-term inpatient hospital coverage assignment in the Monticello, KY area. This role will support pharmacy operations in a critical access hospital setting including order entry, IV preparation, automation support, and medication dispensing.

Assignment Details

• Training: May 15 | 7:30am – 4:00pm plus on-call
• Coverage: May 16–17 | On-call only
• Coverage: May 18–19 | 7:30am – 4:00pm plus on-call
• On-call extends until 7:30am on May 20

Weekend coverage: On-call only

Requirements

 

• Active Kentucky Pharmacist License in good standing
• Inpatient hospital experience required
• Experience with order entry, IV mixing, and automation
• MEDHOST experience preferred
  Omnicell experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Order entry and medication verification
• IV preparation and medication dispensing
• Automation management and Omnicell support
• Clinical support for medical staff

Additional Information

• Critical access hospital setting
• Pharmacy team includes Director of Pharmacy and staff pharmacist
• Dress code: Business casual
