Specialty Medical Staffing is currently seeking a Clinical Staff Pharmacist for a short-term coverage assignment at a behavioral health facility in the Johnstown, CO area. This role will support pharmacy operations, medication verification, dispensing, and Pyxis management in collaboration with the facility’s pharmacy leadership.

Assignment Details:
• Coverage Dates: April 29 – May 5
• Schedule: Monday–Friday 8:00am – 4:00pm
• On-call required after hours and weekends

Requirements:
• Active Colorado Pharmacist License (in good standing)
• Acute inpatient behavioral health experience required
• Experience with HCS order entry preferred
• Experience with Pyxis ES preferred (training available)

Responsibilities:
• Order verification
• Medication dispensing to units/Pyxis
• Pyxis troubleshooting/support
• Clinical decision support for medical staff

Additional Info:
• 3–5 days of training required prior to coverage
• Dress code: Business casual

Credentialing Requirements:
• Background check
• Drug screen
• TB test
• HIPAA training
• Code of Conduct attestation
