Job Title: Interim Director of Pharmacy / PIC – Inpatient Hospital
Schedule: 4x10s + On-Call | Weekend Rotation

Specialty Medical Staffing is currently hiring an Interim Director of Pharmacy / PIC for a hospital assignment in the Logan, Ohio area. This position requires an experienced pharmacist with inpatient, IV, and 340B experience who is comfortable managing pharmacy operations. If this sounds like you, we would love to speak to you!

Assignment Details

• Start: March 16, 2026

• Typical Schedule: 4x10s

• Pharmacy Hours: Monday–Friday 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM, Saturday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

• On-call: Required when pharmacy is closed (typically 1–2 calls per week)

• Weekend Rotation: Every 4th weekend starting March 28, plus on-call from Friday 6:00 PM through Monday 7:30 AM

• System: Epic (training available)

• Automation: Pyxis

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee pharmacy operations as Director of Pharmacy and PIC

• Perform pharmacist staffing duties including order verification and dispensing

• Manage scheduling, meetings, and narcotics ordering

• Participate in sterile compounding and support day-to-day pharmacy operations

Requirements

• Active OH Pharmacist License

• Inpatient pharmacy experience required

• Experience with IVs and 340B

• Ability to work independently in a leadership role
