Interim Director of Pharmacy 
Hospital – Beckley, WV

Specialty Medical Staffing are actively seeking an experienced Interim Director of Pharmacy for a leadership role at a highly reputable hospital in Beckley, West Virginia. This is a consulting-level position, ideal for a pharmacy leader who excels at managing staff and operations. 

Position Overview:
As Interim Director of Pharmacy, you will oversee pharmacy operations, lead clinical and compliance initiatives, and serve as a key liaison between hospital leadership and external administration.

Position Highlights:

• Start Date: June 9th (no later than June 16th)

• Duration: 2–3 months

• Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | No weekends

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations, compliance, and clinical pharmacy programs

• Interface with site administration 

• Ensure adherence to company policies and reporting requirements

• Lead sterile compounding initiatives

• Participate in weekly progress calls and strategic planning

Minimum Requirements:

• Active West Virginia Pharmacist license (required)

• 3–5 years of pharmacy management experience

• Acute care/inpatient hospital experience strongly preferred

• BLS certification

Compensation:

• $70+/hr (DOE)

• Full medical benefits

• Travel support available
