Overview:
As a Nurse Recruiter, you will play a crucial role in sourcing, screening, and hiring qualified nursing professionals to meet the growing needs of our healthcare organization. You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent and ensure a smooth and efficient hiring process.
Responsibilities:
- Talent Acquisition:
- Source and attract qualified nursing candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and professional networking.
- Develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies to reach a diverse pool of candidates.
- Screen resumes and applications to identify potential candidates.
- Conduct initial phone screens to assess candidate qualifications and interest.
- Candidate Screening and Interviewing:
- Schedule and conduct in-person or virtual interviews to evaluate candidates' clinical skills, experience, and cultural fit.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to develop and execute effective interview questions.
- Conduct reference checks and verify employment history.
- Onboarding:
- Coordinate with hiring managers and HR to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires.
- Prepare offer letters and employment contracts.
- Conduct orientation sessions and provide necessary information to new hires.
- Recruitment Process Management:
- Utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS) to manage the recruitment pipeline and track candidate progress.
- Generate reports on recruitment metrics, such as time-to-hire and cost-per-hire.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in nursing recruitment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Nursing, or a business related field.
- 2+ years of experience in healthcare recruitment or a related field.
- Strong understanding of nursing roles, responsibilities, and licensing requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems and other HR software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
