Certified Surgical Technician (Surg Tech) - Permanent Role

Specialty Medical Staffing has an exciting new direct hire opportunity for a Certified Surgical Technician (Surg Tech) in Anchorage, RN!  If you are a highly competent Surgical Technician (Surg Tech) looking for something more than what you have seen in the past, we would love to connect with you. Pay Range:
$1820 Gross weekly ($13/hr and $1300 weekly stipend and M&I)  to 
$1900 Gross weekly ($15/hr and $1300 weekly stipend and M&I)
based on overall experience

Hours: 630-1500 Mon-Fri (however will need to circulate all cases for the day, so it may be a 10-12 hour day, but isn't a norm. Open 5 days a week, however average surgery is 4 days a week.) NO NIGHTS, WEEKENDS, or HOLIDAYS
Physical Setting: Outpatient Surgery Center - Orthopedics, Total Joint Replacement, General, Plastics, ENT, Pain Management, Podiatry

Summary:
The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in spine & ortho cases.
The Surgical Scrub Technician or the Certified Surgical Scrub Technician is a member of the surgical team who works with surgeons, anesthesia personnel, RNs, and other surgical personnel in delivering patient care and assuming appropriate responsibilities before, during and after surgery procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:
1.    GED or High School diploma
2.    One-year certificate from college or technical school; 2 years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
3.    BLS certification required
4.    1 year of OR Experience is required
5.    NBSTSA certified Surgical Technician 

Preferred Qualifications: 2-3 years In a Surgical Technologist role. Hospital Experience: 1 year and Spine & Orthopedic: 1 year
