Change your mindset on what you can do in the field of pharmacy!  Specialty Medical Staffing is currently hiring for a Pharmacist position in the Merrillville, IN area.  This is a role for a highly respected Hospital client in the Healthcare Industry. If you are a highly competent pharmacist looking for a new position, we would like to speak with you! 

Description:

• Fill orders 
• Check technician-prepared products before release
• Maintain security of pharmacy and controlled substances
• Enter/verify orders & patient info with accuracy

Position Requirements:

• IN state Pharmacist license required
• Hospital inpatient pharmacy experience preferred
• Knowledge and experience of pharmacy practice
• Team Player Mentality 

• Coverage Hours needed: sites schedule stretches of the same schedule & will need shifts M-F covered on rotations as well. RPh would go between two hospital sites for coverage as needed.

   2. 0800-1430
   3. 0700-1530
   4. 1330-2200
   5. 1430-2300
   6. 1500-0100

• Order Entry System: Epic – experience preferred
• Site Automation: Omnicell – experience not required
• Dress Code: Business casual
